Key responsibilities

  • Own Pharos’ social media strategy. Fully own the social media strategy across key social platforms, including Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn and Youtube. Able to bring creative thinking to the table and increase our brand awareness and increase engagements. 
  • Be the voice of Pharos on social platforms. Plan, create and deploy relevant and engaging social content on a daily basis. Be the owner of our social media calendar.
  • Engage with the community. Respond to comments, foster meaningful discussions, and build relationships with developers, influencers, and community on social platforms that matter in Web3.
  • Create content that excites the community. Lead creation of content ranging from thought leadership, announcements, daily engagement and beyond. Able to turn complex blockchain concepts into gripping stories and narratives. 
  • Have your pulse on the hottest news in crypto and be able to quickly respond to hot button tops, new trends and trending topics. Proactively propose content ideas that will increase Pharos’ share of voice. 
  • Data driven approach to Social. Able to collect, analyze and understand the data behind our social metrics. Test, learn and iterate our social approach with data to maximize impact. 
  • Cultivate community. Continue growing Pharos’ presence through meaningful engagement with the community and cultivate followers who are deeply invested in Pharos. 


Qualifications

  • Proven track record in Web3 social media management. 
  • Able to be a thinker who brings strategic direction to the team as well as a doer who can roll up your sleeves. 
  • Deep love for the Web3 space - you have lived and breathed crypto twitter. You get the culture and are energized by it. 
  • Exceptional communication skills. You are able to simplify complex concepts in to language that people can understand. 
  • You are able to spot the trends in the industry and quickly respond to opportunities when they arise. 
  • Experience with social media management with a data-driven approach - able to test, measure and iterate.


Nice to have 

  • Strong preference for a bilingual speaker in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Experience with Layer 1 preferred but not required.
